Basically, I wanted to throw out some ideas for the ls bank. It's not getting really used, and I think the new fix would help that… Here's my Proposition.

Here is a proposed linkshell rules for now for our shell! I'd like to hear feedback/comments and any other ideas you'd like to talk about or consider for it!

–Basic Rules–

*Harassing other members will not be tolerated. You will be given a warning at first, and can be removed from the shell.
*We strive to be a fair and rewarding linkshell! Do your best to participate with us as a group!
*Any LS mod reserves the right to remove a member if he/she feels they aren't pulling their weight in the shell. You will be given a fair warning and nobody is removed without my consent.

–The Points System–

Although, at this time in Final Fantasy XIV, there is a lack of content/need for a points system. I believe it would be nice to set one up, especially for future use events!
At this current stage in the game, the maximum points you're allowed to earn is 20.

-Fully registering for this website (+1)
-Further notes on this:You apply, are accepted, and then awknowledge the acceptance. So I can link your character to guildwork's DKP.
-Participation in a scheduled Leve Party (+1)
-Donating materials to the material bank [see below in LS vault for description] (+.5 pt / Maximum 1.5 pt)
-Further notes on this: You must donate materials in need. Preferably, in stacks. The way this will work: 3 stacks (+.5), 5 stacks (+1), 7 stacks (1.5).
-Donating gearsets for the linkshell to use (.5/ Max of 2 points)
-Further notes on this: You must donate needed gearsets. Please view the "Donation Center" part of the forum to make a quick post on what you submit to the ls.
-Reaching Rank 30 / 40 / or 50. (+2)

–Our LS Vault–

At this current time, our linkshell vault has two functions.
Gearsets
*Storing gearsets/equipment for jobs. We'd like to provide a feature to our members to be able to rent sets/equipment so as to make it easier for our fellow members!
-You will find the list of borrowable gear on the DKP section "Items"
-You must return the item when you are done with it / have it repaired .
-The initial cost of each gear is .5 points.
-The maximum you can borrow is 5 items. (If you borrow 5, the cost is 2 points.)

Aside from borrowing, gear above rank 30 will not be for borrow. Instead, they will be for purchase via points. The amount of points for those items will be listed on the DKP.

Material Storage
*In order to aide our fellow members with a viable crafting option, the bank can also be used to store materials. These materials will help our crafters on the grind that is rank 50! Everyone is encouraged to help support this feature to help all of our members!
-There is no points used at this time for using materials. However, if you borrow, please use the materials!Oran

Proposed Fix:

First of all, will be taking Material Storage out of the list. I know I'm not going to hold on to stuff, and it would be very hard to list what we had. So I'd like to toss this very quick :p

What I want to stress is a the change to the completed items.

*Gear Service
-You will find the list of borrowable gear on the DKP section "Items"
-Gear is donated by the linkshell / obtained from an event. A cost for the item will be alloted on the the DKP, but will follow a basic rule.
* Rank 1-20 Item: .5 points
* Rank 20-40 Item: 1 point
* Rank 50 Item: 1.5 points
* Difficulty to obtain / rareness of an item can be factored in. Adding .5 or so more points to an item depending.
-If you chose to return the item when you are done with it, you will get back half the points it cost to obtain the item.

(The above was changed from reaching r30/40… Those are very noteworthy accomplishments, but not something I want to keep up with.
